Pesto Pasta
Ingredients:
- 200g pasta (spaghetti, penne, or fusilli)
- 1/2 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Pine nuts (optional, for garnish)
- Olive oil (for drizzling)
Instructions:
Cook the pasta: Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and save 1/4 cup of pasta water.
Toss with pesto: In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce. If the pesto is too thick, add a little pasta water to help coat the pasta evenly.
Add garnish: Drizzle a little olive oil on top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Serve: Top with pine nuts for extra crunch (optional) and serve immediately.
